White Friday 2026 in the UAE: what actually gets discounted (and what doesn't)

White Friday is the single biggest discount window in the region — and also the one where the most fake discounts appear. This guide separates the two, using the prices we track across the stores in our directory.

The short version: fashion and electronics see genuine cuts. Beauty and travel mostly don’t — those brands discount harder in January. If you can only shop one week, make it the second week of November, not the first.

What actually drops

Across the stores we track, clothing and accessories consistently show the deepest real discounts — often 50–70% off, and those cuts stack on top of what a promo code adds. Right now the deepest live offer in that category is at Michael Kors, where two codes are verified and working, and The Deal Outlet is running a similar sitewide cut.

Electronics follow a different pattern: the discounts are shallower, but they land on current models rather than last year’s stock.

What doesn’t

Beauty is the classic trap. Prices are often raised in October and “discounted” back to normal in November. We track this, which is why our beauty category stays deliberately small that month — a padded page of fake savings helps nobody.

The week that matters

Most stores in the UAE stagger their offers. The first week is teaser pricing; the real cuts land in the second week of November, and the deepest ones on the Monday after. If your purchase can wait a week, wait.
